Post 6: Sexism Shown in a Fiction Character that I Love.

Johnny Bravo is sexist
When I was a little girl every afternoon I watching Cartoon Network in the TV and some days they gave this series and at that moment I found it funny, but now that I grew up it seems to me a very sexist character.
Johnny Bravo is a character of a presuptuous guy that his only hobbies was trying to conquer women and look great.
In the all episodes in this cartoon, Johnny Bravo makes women fell very uncomfortable because it was very rude and always said compliments that obviously they didn't want to listen.
An example of his attitude is seen in the next gift where he refers to women with different adjectives and the last sounds very rude because "chicks" it's a derogatory and sexist way of referring to us women.

The Story of a Picture

My travel to Antofagasta

This picture was taken by my father when my brother and I went to Antofagasta to visit him because my father worked in this region.

In this travel was the first time that I went travel by plane. In that moment I was really nervous because never I had been on a plane, but I had pay attention to my brother because we were traveling the two alone for the first time, so I  focused in him and the truth was a trip quiet and funny, everything was new for us.

When arrived at the airport my dad was waiting for us. We did't see my dad in months so was very emotive.

Then we went on a "transfer" and my dad asked the driver if he could take us to "Portada de Antofagasta" and the driver said yes so got out of the car to take pictures. In that place my dad take me this  picture.
I love this photograph because remind a moment happy in my life.

This trip is unforgettable for me because was in the last year of the school, miss some days of the school for this travel, but was the moment of relax I needed in middle of all the chaos to the last year of the school.

Childhood Series

My favorite childhood cartoons

Whe I was a child, I remember all the weekend in the morning I saw in the TV different cartoons that moment was the heaven for a little girl.

My favorite cartoons were “The powerpuff girls” I always wanted to be “Bombon” but my parent they said that I was looks like “Bellota” for the attituded that was more similar to her. This cartoon was fantastic for me because the other characters were so different from everything I had watching in TV and the superpowers were unbelievable I dreamed of having that.

When I started going to school, the time to spend watching cartoons was reduced, so my favorite cartoons of that time my aunt should record it on a VHS, because I couldn’t live without seeing “Doraemon”, so when I came from the school, I watched the VHS recording of “Doraemon” while eating and I could be happy and quiet for don’t losing my favorite series.

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

The computer

The computer is an object technology used for too many different things; in just one computer it can have a lot information.

In the 2011, when I was 12 years old, I had my first computer. I won that computer for my good school grades I was awarded for a government program called “Yo elijo mi PC”.

I use the computer everyday because in there I can do many things, for example I can see videos, play games, read the news and listen my favorite music.

This is my favorite object technology because in a single object I can have my favorites hobbies and too since I have a computer everything is much simpler and the reason more important because this is my favorite object because in there, I keep my most precious memories.

In the computer I have my whole life, without this object I would not have a place to keep my memories and my hobbies would be other or just would not have hobbies.  Maybe my spare time would be very boring.
